Proximus, EQT joint venture to invest EUR 2.5 billion in fibre network in Flanders

Fiberklaar, the new joint venture of Proximus and Sweden's EQT Infrastructure, will be investing EUR 2.5 billion in the roll-out of a FTTP network in Flanders. The company hopes to connect 1.5 million homes to fibre by 2028. The joint venture, which was first announced in November 2020, received the European competition authority's green light on 24 March.
