Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched many phones since the start of this year and going by several rumors, the company has more in its pipeline. We heard in January this year that a new device codenamed “Ibiza” is under development and it has model number XT2137. Later, it got discovered that the phone is going to be launched as Moto G50.

Ever since the discovery, the device has popped up more in rumors. Recently, it spotted on TENAA where it revealed a lot about itself, from its looks to some key specifications. And, later, some official-looking renders have also been leaked.

On the TENAA, the device is spotted with the model number XT2137-2. The images show there is a triple camera setup on the back. According to what is mentioned in the database, the Moto G50 has an LCD panel and it supports 5G networks as well. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery, but slow 10W charging. On the back, the phone carries Moto’s iconic batwing logo, supposedly for the fingerprint scanner. The listing also confirms the device runs Android 11 out-of-the-box.

There are no other details available on TENAA, though past rumors have suggested a few things. The Moto G50 is said to feature a 90Hz refresh rate and a 13MP front-facing camera. On the rear, there is going to be a 48MP primary sensor, followed by a 5MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. The handset is expected to feature 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The official-looking renders present no different look. In fact, they look exactly the same as we have had seen them through TENAA, though they present a clean and clearer look.

It is currently unknown when the new device will launch but we believe it is going to happen soon.
