Safaa A Mhawi was born in the Iraqi city of Baghdad in 1974. He arrived in the United States of America as a refugee in 2009, fleeing religious persecution. In 2012, he got married. He has two lovely daughters and a lovely wife. He has acquired a variety of meaningful experiences and meanings since his arrival in America that helps him with his passion for writing.
