Chile begins telecom worker vaccination programme

Chile's ministry of transport and telecommunications (MTT) said it has begun the process of vaccinating technicians from various operators in view of their essential role in keeping the country connected during the Covid-19 pandemic. The ministry has set up a mobile vaccination unit in the Parque O'Higgins area of Santiago in collaboration with the city council and vaccinated around 20 technicians from the companies VTR, Movistar, Entel, GTD, Mundo, Claro, WOM, Direct TV and Netline at an event attended by Undersecretary of Telecommunications Pamela Gidi and the Municipality of Santiago's
