Right now rana is acting under the direction of Prabhu Selvan for the movie Aranya. It is releasing in telugu and tamil languages on march 26th. Its is supposed to release in hindi on 26th as well, but due to Corona cases spiking the release is delayed. In the recent movie promotion the unit has revealed many interesting matters. He said he has discovered a spiritual side of himself in this movie. According to the interview given to indian express he explained how his journey from bahubali to Aranya.
He also mentioned that director has come to him with Aranya script while he was shooting for Bahubali. For Ballala deva character he was supposed to look bulky but for Aranya director wanted him to look lean. rana then allotted 25 days of his dates to the movie, But with the health issues rana was not able get into the character, But director Waited for him to recover from his treatment and get ti the physique that is required for the movie. sai pallavi is pairing opposite rana for Aranya.
