Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020 after a long battle cancer. He went to New York for therapy and was there for practically 12 months.
On Thursday, March 25th, Neetu Kapoor, on Rishi Kapoor’s 11th month prayer meet, shared a video of herself with Rishi Kapoor from their last trip to New York together.
The actress additionally took a journey down reminiscence lane as she shared the video and wrote, “Since as we speak is Rishiji’ s 11 month prayer meet felt like sharing some moments from our final journey to NYC.”
Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor also shared a family picture on Rishi Kapoor’s 11-month prayer meet. The photo features Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Samara and herself. “Your love will light our way- Your memory will forever be with us! Always in our hearts (sic),” she wrote.
Further, Riddhima also shared pictures from Rishi Kapoor’s 1 month prayer meet where she and Ranbir Kapoor are seen performing some rituals within the pooja. Both are wearing white attires. A good-looking picture of Rishi is seen within the background which appears to be like like he’s watching over them. Riddhima additionally captioned the photograph, ‘Always watching over us ! We miss you.’
On the work front, Neetu Kapoor will be seen next in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ with Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor, which is helmed by Raj Mehta. The film also features Prajakta Koli and Maniesh Paul.
