Hyderabad: The state government is of the highest priority, according to the health sector, especially in rural areas, and helps poor people suffering from serious ailments to get proper treatment, TRS Jagitial MLA M Sanjay Kumar said in the State Assembly here.
Kidney patients, who had to undergo dialysis, had previously experienced problems due to the unavailability of dialysis centers in districts, and they had to go to the city to make use of the facility. But after the founding of Telangana, the problems of kidney patients were solved, and every head office in the district had dialysis.
He thanked Prime Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for providing good equipment at dialysis centers across the state and encouraged him to increase the machines used to increase dialysis to patients.
In the past, several patients had financial constraints to purchase expensive medicines after undergoing organ transplants. But after the state government started giving free medicine, patients now felt comfortable.
Kidney, liver and heart transplants also increased due to the Aarogyasri scheme, and he appreciated the government for improving facilities in the state hospitals.
