Punjab: Man misbehaves with wife of Armyman

PANCHKULA: Wife of a Lt Col posted with the Indian Army alleged that one person forcibly held her arm while they were resolving their kids scuffle at a playground on Tuesday.
The woman alleged that her husband is posted in the Eastern India and she was living with her 10-year-old son and a 15-year-old daughter. She told the cops that her 10-year-old son and another kid had some spat while playing in the playground. Father of the other child knocked at her door and started shouting and used abusive language.
The victim told him that her husband was not home and that he should come later. On this, the accused held her hand and used foul language.
She said, “The man can harm me physically and he also threatened my son. We are now scared.” Based on the complaint, the cops have registered a case under sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 509 (any word, sound, gesture to outrage modesty of a woman) of the IPC at Chandimandir police station.
The police said, “The accused would be nabbed soon and investigation is under way.”
