EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

LIVE market updates: The Indian benchmark indices added to their early losses and fell 1 per cent in Wednesday's noon deals, amid weakness in metals, auto, and financial stocks.
Among the headline indices, the S&P BSE Sensex fell 600 points, or 1 per cent, to 49,430 levels and the broader Nifty50 index gave up the 14,650-mark. ONGC, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, and IndusInd Bank fell 1 per cent each.
Among other individual stocks, Rail Vikas Nigam fell over 7 per cent after the company said the government will sell up to 15 cent stake in the company through an offer for sale.
Meanwhile, Shares of Anupam Rasayan India made a weak debut at the bourses, listing at Rs 520 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), a 6 per cent discount over its issue price of Rs 555 per share.
All the Nifty sectoral indices traded in the red, with Nifty Metal index, down 2 per cent, bleeding the most.
