How do you calm yourself?
I've had bad anxiety attacks off and on this past year.
Anyone have solutions ?

Get outside and do something.
Force yourself to go for a run or the gym or something physical, as hard as it is, force it.
Fresh air my friend, without a stupid mask on too. Fresh air.
You’ll feel a ton better.Hey gideon! Ive been looking at your wall, its pretty frickin sickening bro.

Srs post though
No stimulants. Not even coffee
Stable bed time before/at 10pm
Sleep until wake no alarm
Eat a protein and fat heavy breakfast daily e.g. a cooked breakfast
Regular exercise
Cutout other drugs/alcohol
Write your thoughts down on paper
- Questions you could ask yourself include
• if I could focus on and change one thing in my life what would it be
• how can I improve my social life
• how can I improve my work life
• how can I improve my family life
• what do I not like about my current life
Put a timer in and write for a minimum of 3 minutes, write until you stop the. Refine it.
Once you have written thoughts leave your head and you have also made your problems concrete and you know what you need to work on.
Do this task anytime you feel overwhelmed.
Seek therapy/medical advice if above easy fixes don’t work. Could be as simple as some blood pressure meds/beta blockers or whatever.

Sleep better, lower alcohol and caffeine and stay off of social media a lot. When you feel it, and everyone feels it differently at different times, try to ground yourself. Take deep breaths, focus on things you can see, hear, smell and touch. Once you have a slight hold on it stop thinking about it. Just focus on your tv show, or your book, or whatever you’re doing.
It sucks but that grounding technique helps quite a bit.Lurking since '05 - the days of VS gorilla/cloud/goku threads

When I had it, I had to train myself to consciously focus on my thought-patterns, and then think differently. It was my thought-patterns that triggered my anxiety. Have had some small anxiety moments this past year that I could feel catching on, but I focused on my breathing to stop the full-blown anxiety attacks. Don’t hesitate to seek professional advice, or reaching out to help in general.

Ride the lightning. Dedfknsrs.
When id feel anxiety coming on (it would get so bad I'd leave a full kart of groceries in line and leave a store) I'd just tell my self 1) I've been here before an have never died or fainted and 2) fuk it just ride it out. It's almost like a bad trip, if you fight it you will probably lose, but if you just go with it and say Fuk it I know I won't die... Then you can ride it out.
That's at least my experience, and once I started "riding it out" I eventually stopped having anxiety all together. Srs.
