Smartphone brand Oppo has recorded sales worth over Rs 230 crore for its latest 5G offering in the popular Oppo F19 Pro series within three days of launch, the company said on Wednesday.
“We started the year with a bang with the successful launch of OPPO Reno5 Pro. The success of the F19 Pro series has propelled us to newer heights. 2021 is proving to be a watershed year for us,” said Damyant Khanoria, Chief Marketing Officer, OPPO India.
India’s fifth largest smartphone market with 11% market share is aiming to democratise 5G in India ahead of the next-gen technology rollout and will launch more than six 5G devices in 2021.
The latest Oppo F19 series outsold all its predecessors by achieving more than 70% growth in the first day sale volume as compared to its last year’s version F17 Pro, the brand said.
Out of the two variants – F19 Pro+ 5G and F19 Pro, the former has gained the maximum share of user interest, it said.
