Yangon: Myanmar’s state television says 628 people arrested for last month’s protest against the coup have been released.
Witnesses outside the Insein prison in Yangon on Wednesday saw what busloads mostly looked like to young people.
The detainees appear to be the hundreds of students detained in early March as they protested against the February 1 coup that ousted the elected government of Aung San Suu Kyi.
