Ankita Lokhande talks about her casting couch experiences
Ankita Lokhande opens up about the casting couch experiences she has faced as an actor.

Ankita Lokhande has revealed that she has experienced the casting couch in the movie industry twice. She talked about how she encountered many predatory men in the field. She opened up that her first casting couch experience was when she was just starting as an actor.
This took place when she went for an audition for a South film. She was asked to compromise to get the role. Determined, she walked out and decided to make it big with her talent.
The second time such a thing happened was after she was a successful television actor looking to enter movies.
“When I got back again into films, I felt it again, just shaking hands with that person. I don’t want to take names, he was a big actor. I got those vibes, and I quickly got my hands away from him. I knew it, ab mera yahaan nahi hoga (it will not work out for me), because it is a give and take thing. I understood and I left from there because it was not for me,” she revealed.
Ankita became a popular face through the television serial Pavitra Rishta, which also starred the late Sushant Singh Rajput. Her Bollywood debut was through Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi in 2019.
She was seen alongside Kangana Ranaut. She also played a supporting role in Baaghi 3.
