NATIONAL SUMMARY
Severe thunderstorms capable of producing flooding
downpours, large hail, damaging wind gusts and even
tornadoes will rumble in western and central Tennessee, far
eastern Arkansas, northern and central Mississippi and
northwestern Alabama tomorrow. Farther south, severe weather
is also expected in Louisiana, southern Mississippi, central
and western Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle. In
these locations, however, the tornado threat is lower. A
steady rain will fall in central and southern Missouri, much
of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. A warm and largely
dry day is expected in the Northeast. Some places may even
approach record highs. In the West, snow showers will fly in
the mountains with spotty rain showers in lower elevations.
