Any adult Southeast Texan interested in a COVID-19 vaccine can begin registering immediately, ahead of Monday’s lifting of eligibility requirements. As of Wednesday, there was no wait to get an appointment set, Beaumont Mayor Becky Ames said.
“Everyone in our system has an appointment scheduled,” she said.
Those not currently eligible for a vaccine will be scheduled for appointments as early as Monday, when Texas opens the system to everyone over 18 who wants to be inoculated.
Register at vaccine.beaumonttexas.gov or by phone at (409) 550-2536.
