JEE Main March result 2021 announced; 13 scored 100 percentile
A total number of 6.19 lakh candidates registered for the March exams and around 5.9 lakh candidates took the test conducted from March 16 to 18, 2021.
Screen grab of the official website NEW DELHI: Thirteen candidates scored 100 percentile in the JEE (Main) March exams for admission to engineering programmes. The number of candidates who scored 100 percentile in the February exams was six. The results were announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday night. NTA will reopen the registration window on Thursday for correction and registration for the subsequent cycles of April and May and the window is likely to remain open for a week.

There are three candidates each from Telangana and Rajasthan who scored 100 percentile which include Bannuru Rohit Kumar Reddy, Madur Adarsh Reddy, Josyula Venkata Aditya, and Mridul Agarwal, Zenith Malhotra, and Rohit Kumar, respectively. There are two candidates from Delhi and Maharashtra and once each from West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Bihar who scored 100 percentile, which include Siddharth Kalra, Kavya Chopra, Bakshi Gargi Makarand, Atharva Abhijit Tambat, Bratin Mondal, Ashwin Abraham, and Kumar Satyadarshi, respectively.

However, the final merit list will be announced by the NTA after Feb, March, April, and May Session of JEE(Main)-2021 exam, the ranks of the candidates will be released taking into consideration the best of the four NTA scores. This is for the first time the JEE (Main) is being offered four times a year and in 13 languages including Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, English, and Gujarati.
JEE (Main) is conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes in the National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, and other centrally-funded technical institutions and engineering colleges of participating states. It is also the eligibility test for JEE (Advanced) for admission to the prestigious IITs. For the first time, 200-odd technical institutions of Uttar Pradesh too would be conducting their admissions based on scores of this test. The other states which have been using JEE (Main) scores are Haryana, MP, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Nagaland, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Punjab.
