Haryana: Two held for robbing Maharashtra-based army engineer in Ambala

AMBALA: The Ambala police's Crime Investigation Agency-II (CIA) arrested two men for allegedly robbing a Maharashtra-based army engineer of his cash and SUV at gunpoint in August, last year.
A CIA officer said that accused were identified as Ranjit Singh and Sanchit Marwah, both residents of Kurukshetra district.
The officer said that the duo was produced before the district court on Wednesday, which sent them to a four-day police remand for further investigation.
On August 25, 2020, Bharat of Oshiwara district of Maharashtra had lodged a complaint at Parao police station alleging that he was robbed by two men on gunpoint of his SUV which was carrying Rs 1.7 lakh cash, a mobile phone, credit and debit cards, two gold rings and some documents.
