Two Pillars in the Diabetes Community Unite to Serve Millions Living with Diabetes
The American Diabetes Association® and Beyond Type 1 unveil the ADA X BT1 Collab
ARLINGTON, Va. and SAN CARLOS, Calif., March 23, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and Beyond Type 1 (BT1) announced they have joined forces with the creation of the ADA x BT1 Collab. This partnership will feature combined resources and strategies to better serve people living with type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and prediabetes.
The ADA x BT1 Collab is founded on a shared vision that both organizations are more impactful by working together and playing to their unique strengths. Much of the work of the Collab will focus on bringing the most important and up-to-date medical and research information directly to people living with diabetes. The organizations will also work together to elevate the ADA's Health Equity Now platform and on programming including Camps.

The ADA brings leading scientific and clinical expertise to this partnership that spans type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, and type 1 diabetes. Beyond Type 1 brings publishing expertise as well as a large digital network of individuals impacted by all types of diabetes in both English and Spanish.
