Swiggy launches Health Hub in Chennai

Chennai: Online delivery player Swiggy on Tuesday announced the launch of Health Hub here where customers can order healthy food.

According to Swiggy, customers can order healthy food options on the Swiggy app.

While people were looking for healthy food options, Swiggy worked here with nutritionists and restaurants to get more than 9,000 dishes from 700 stores.

Millet-based dosa / idli such as Kambu Dosa, Kuthraivalli Dosa, Millet Idli, Millet Karuvepilai Idli, Wheat Dosa, for example, are all available on Swiggy’s Health Hub.

Consumers can choose between high-protein, low-carbohydrate, vegan and keto meals in soups, salads, packaging and desserts.

While Health Hub offers healthy alternatives to South Indian cuisine in Chennai, it also offers healthy alternatives to all popular cuisines such as Continental, Pan-Asian, North Indian countries, as well as a wide variety of juices and desserts, Swiggy said.

We want to get rid of the general idea that healthy food is difficult, tasteless and expensive, said Vivek Sunder, chief operating officer, Swiggy.
