UK shines ‘beacon of remembrance’

Candlelight vigils were held across the country on Tuesday night, in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the pandemic.

A candle of remembrance was placed outside No 10 Downing Street, and major landmarks lit up in yellow.

The event marks the one year anniversary of the first UK coronavirus lockdown.
