Hyderabad: Three girls allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents in the city on Tuesday. In the first incident, a teenage girl died, allegedly by suicide, after she allegedly jumped from the 23rd floor of an apartment complex at Nanakramguda late on Monday. She is suspected of being depressed over family problems, police said.
The victim, identified as Esha Ranjan (17), an interim student of a private college, stayed with her mother on the 23rd floor of the multi-story complex. According to police, Esha, who was depressed about personal issues, apparently jumped from the balcony of her home. She died instantly. No suicide note was found immediately.
Gachibowli police have launched an investigation. The body was handed over to the family on Tuesday after an autopsy in the morgue of Osmania General Hospital.
In the second incident, an intermediate student committed suicide on Tuesday by jumping from her college building on Mallepally in Habeebnagar. Police said the reason for the suicide was not yet known.
According to police, the girl identified as Shifa Naaz, 17, jumped from the hallway on the fourth floor of the college building, even while her friends and other students were present in the college.
“Other students warned the university authorities, who rushed her to a private hospital in Nampally, where she was pronounced dead by doctors,” Habeebnagar police said, adding that no suicide note or anything indicating why the girl was extreme could not have turned. step was known. Inquiries were ongoing with her family members and friends.
The body was moved to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.
In the third incident, an engineering student committed suicide in the final year by jumping from a multi-storey building at Maisammaguda in Petbasheerabad.
