Apple fined in Brazil for selling iPhones without charger

Brazilian consumer protection agency Procon-SP has fined Apple BRL 10.5 million for the abusive practice of selling iPhones without a power charger, reports G1. The agency said that Apple did not "demonstrate the environmental gain" by not including the plug adapter, as it did not present a plan for collecting old handsets and recycling.
