India vs England 1st ODI Live Broadcast: Star Sports, BCCI’s official broadcast partner, will live telecast India’s 1st ODI match against England in five different languages. Apart from English, to reach a broader audience, Star Sports will telecast Ind vs Eng 1st ODI match in Hindi, apart from three regional languages, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

Star Sports will have the onus of reaching out to the masses in India with the live action of the 1st ODI match between India and England in 5 different regional languages which will allow more Indians to access the game. India’s 1st ODI will be live broadcasted on the Star Sports network and streamed on Disney+ Hotstar across five languages –English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.

The broadcasting giant player, Star Sports has signed a deal with the BCCI for the media rights of the national team’s home series as well as domestic cricket for the next five years by shelling out a staggering ₹6,138.1 crore.

On the advertising front as well

Star Sports had earlier revealed to InsideSport that the series is seeing very strong advertiser interest from categories like Auto, Ed-Tech, E-Commerce and Financial Services.

“The India-England series marks the return of cricket to Indian soil after a long gap. The historic win at the Gabba has built anticipation for yet another crucial series with the world champion, England. We are seeing strong pent-up demand and positive sentiment amongst the marketers,” said Anil Jayaraj, Executive Vice President, Star Sports.
