Hyderabad: Five hyderabad entrepreneurs made it to Grohe Hurun India Real Estate Rich List 2020. Rameshwar Rao Jupally and his family (My Home Constructions) led the Hyderabad maps with a wealth of 5,450 million and are ranked 11th in India.
C Venkateswara Reddy of Aparna Constructions & Estates and S Subramanyam Reddy of Aparna Constructions & Estates occupy the second and third place in the city with a wealth of 5.230 million and 5.180 million, respectively in the 12th and 13th place in India.
GV Rao and the family of SAS Infra were fourth in Hyderabad and 49th nationwide with a wealth of R1010 million. GVK Reddy and the family of Taj GVK are fifth in Hyderabad and 72nd nationwide with a wealth of 460 million.
The Grohe Hurun India Real Estate Rich List 2020 counts 100 individuals from 71 companies and 15 cities. Among the State / Union Territories, Maharashtra is in first place with 37 in the list, followed by Delhi and Karnataka with 22 and 20 respectively.
By city, Mumbai leads the list with 31 individuals, followed by New Delhi and Bengaluru with 22 and 20 individuals respectively. Hyderabad ranks fourth in most entrepreneurs on the list.
Wealth creators:
With a wealth of 44,270 million, Mangal Prabhat Lodha and the family of Lodha Group are the richest person for the fourth consecutive year. Its wealth has increased by 39 percent in the current year. Lodha Group had the highest operating income among all the real estate developers in India during the 2020 pandemic hit year.
With a wealth of 36,430 million, DLF’s Rajiv Singh took second place on the list and recorded a 45 percent increase in wealth, supported by a 50 percent increase in DLF’s share price. With an increase of 70 percent in wealth and current wealth of 26,260 kr., Chandru Raheja and the family of K Raheja Corp move up two places and occupy the third place.
The latest on the list is Aditya Chandak (36) of Chandak Group, with a net worth of 280 million and at 2,170 million, PRS Oberoi (91) of the East India Hotel is the oldest on the list.
About 14 entrepreneurs from seven companies come from non-construction business conglomerates such as Piramal Realty, Godrej Properties, Kalpataru, Indiabulls Real Estate, Bharti Realty, Mahindra Lifespace Developers and Shapoorji Pallonji.
