I've found I feel better when I'm striving for that goal - then feels like limbo until I figure out my next one. Took ~10 years to figure out how to move the family from AZ to near DC and do it on one income. Pulled it off, great job - that was a huge goal - maybe felt like I coasted for a year there, until I made the next one - transfer into a particular department. Did that just over a year ago and again, felt like I coasted a bit last year. Still trying to figure out the next big goal for myself. I'll settle for the next promotion / job classification upgrade for the short term.
Exactly, frut- but gotta ask - Stormlight reader?
