‘I Rejected Happy New Year And Bajirao Mastani to Marry Sushant,’ reveals Ankita Lokhande
In an recent interview, Ankita Lokhande has spoken about how she dismissed various films as getting wed to Sushant Singh Rajput was her No.1 Priority.

Ankita Lokhande shares that she was disturbed after her split from him. The actress revealed that she was self-destructive as there would be days when she would simply remain in bed without talking a word to anybody.
She additionally said that she dismissed films like Happy New Year and Bajirao Mastani as she wanted to marry Sushant Singh Rajput and set up a home. She said she was offered a fantasy debut in Happy New Year, But she let it go.
Ankita Lokhande revealed to Bollywood Bubble, “I abandoned numerous things. I abandoned Happy New Year. I recall Farah ma’am offered me the film and I met Shah Rukh sir moreover. He said, ‘I will attempt to give you the best debut.’ And I was like , alright, yet at the back of my head… I was in Macau. Me, Sushant and Shah Rukh, we were sitting, and I was like, ‘Bhagwan, mera na ho (God, I trust I don’t get it).’ Ladki kaisi hoti hai na, she generally attempts, ‘Nahi yaar, mere partner ka acha ho’ (A young lady consistently needs the best for her accomplice).”
Ankita added that she also let go of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani and Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram Leela. It appears to be the expert producer considered her up to offer her the film.
Anita further reveals that SLB advised her, “Kar le Bajirao varna yaad rakh, pachtayegi tu (Do Bajirao Mastani or you will think twice about it later).’ He was in a real sense praising me and Sanjay sir saying that is an exceptionally huge thing. At that point I was like, “Nahi sir, mujhe shaadi karni hai (No, sir. I need to get married).”
