Thalaivi trailer out and we can’t wait for the film to hit the theatres

Thalaivi trailer released on the occasion of the Kangana Ranaut’s birthday.

Kangana Ranaut whose been recently honoured with a National award for her performance in Panga and Manikarnika, has another brilliant performance waiting to be appreciated.

The trailer and first look of the her character in film ‘Thalaivi’ is out now, and has got an amazing response.

Kangana Ranaut will be playing Jayalalitha late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister — showing her transition from a movie star into a politician. The film also marks Kangana’s return to Tamil cinema after a gap of 12 years, after working in Dhaam Dhoom (2008) with Jayam Ravi.

The trailer of the film takes viewers through Jayalalithaa’s rise as a movie star, her association with MGR that established her entry into politics, and her journey towards becoming the CM of Tamil Nadu.

Thalaivi also stars Arvind Swamy as MGR, and the rest of the cast includes Nassar, Bhagyashree, Samuthrakani and Madhu Bala.

Directed by A.L Vijay, and produced by Brinda Prasad and is set for release on April 23.
