Palanpur: The administration of the famous Ambaji temple in Banaskantha district has decided to impose dress code for devotees and disallow entry of people wearing ‘short’ clothes.
Shri Arasuri Ambaji Devasthan Trust, which manages the temple affairs, said the rule about ‘short clothes’ already existed. “We have now put up a board outside the temple appealing the visitors wear dresses which preserve the sanctity of Indian tradition,” said SJ Chavda, in-charge administrator of the trust.
Chavda said the temple trust is being liberal at present with the dress code as large number of devotees come from far off places and they not aware about the ruletnn.
