Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi celebrated the spirit of freedom

Chandigarh,.23rd March 2021: Department of Cultural Affairs, Chandigarh Administration in association with Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi celebrates the spirit of freedom with an art workshop by 18 senior and young artists of the tricity

The art workshop is an effort of the Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi, in association with the Department of Culture, Chandigarh Administration. The event inaugurated by Sh. Vinod P.Kavle, IAS, Secretary Culture with a closing ceremony at 5.30 pm.

As many as 18 senior and young artists will paint live on the theme of Freedom, how they visualize Freedom and express their thoughts, emotions, feelings in their own special styles, mediums, colors, and textures. The idea is to also invite art lovers to be part of the process of the creation of art, and interact with the artists on the value of freedom and its many dimensions.

The participating artists are Sadhna Sangar, Parmod Arya, Bharti Vandna, Prabhinder, Madan Lal, R P Verma, Mohinder Tuli, Subhash Shorey, Pankaj Saroj, Reena Bhatnagar, K.R. Koli, Rajender Kumar, Kumudi Prajapati. The young artists are Sahil Kapil, Gurjit Singh, Abhishek Rathi, Jashandeep Kaur, Vijay Kumar.
