Here's the facial reconstruction of the Ptolemy dynasty.... what people may not be aware is that even though the Ptolemy's married their siblings, they didn't actually have offspring together. For example, Cleopatra's biological mother is actually unknown, so the Ptolemaic dynasty wasn't a bunch of mutants like the Hapsburgs.
No, Cleopatra was not Black... she was Macedonian Greek....

In DNA testing they found Ancient Egyptians were nearly identical to ancient Levants and ancient Anatolians. Meaning: academia is more or less admitting they are white people.
Ancient Levant and Ancient Anatolia =/= modern Lebanon or modern Turkey. Lebanese were affected by the Muslim slave trade and Arab conquest. Turkey was invaded multiple times by Arabs, Persians and later Turks (hence the name) who came in with a mixed horde of East Asian looking people and Iranian subjects.

This is what Cleopatra might have looked like. As you can see, she looks like a typical Southern European (Mediterranean) phenotype.
Her sexiness wasn't necessarily just based on looks (she's pretty average in looks), her sexiness was her charm and intelligence and girl-next-door vibe...

Honestly thought it was due to the age gap. Neither Caesar nor Mark Anthony were young spring chicks. They were probably excited to have female attention from a 'young' woman that wasn't a slave mistress. Likewise, both of them probably wanted to get a dynastic throne in Egypt to increase the wealth of their family.
Remember Egypt's dynasty was at a bit of a door's end. Incest + infighting meant there were very few valid heirs. So the Julli family was probably betting on forming a Dynasty there.
