French regulator authorises more 5G trials in 26 GHz band

France's telecom authority Arcep has recently approved two requests from Orange to carry out 5G technical tests using trial spectrum in the 26 GHz band. Valid for twelve months, the authorisations will enable the operator to run pilots in the cities of Marseille and Dijon. The regulator had previously approved similar requests from Orange for 26 GHz testing sites in Chatillon and Rennes.
