Synopsis

Though strengthening of the US dollar and bond yields pressurised gold, it ended the week with a gain of 1% due to dovish stance by the US Fed. Volatility was more in silver and it ended the week with a gain of 2%.

Though strengthening of the US dollar and bond yields pressurised gold, it ended the week with a gain of 1% due to dovish stance by the US Fed.

Silver (Rs)
Volatility was more in silver and it ended the week with a gain of 2%.

Though bullion demand pushed up its prices, a major portion of it was neutralised by the economic growth concerns.

WTI Crude ($/barrel)
Dovish stand by the US Fed raised concerns about growth and pulled down crude by 2%.
