The social media has been filled with happy posts after India Legends led by Sachin Tendulkar lifted the Road Safety World Series 2020-21 trophy. Sachin’s daughter, Sara Tendulkar too has been overjoyed by the win. She took to her instagram stories to share a short clip of the winning moment of the match. To complete her post, she has added a ‘Yay’ GIF and blue hearts. From the looks, it seems that daddy’s little girl was watching the finals live on TV.

India Legends became the winners of the series after defeating Sri Lanka Legends by 14 runs. The match held on March 21saw exceptional performances by Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and brothers,Irfanand Yusuf Pathan. The Sri Lanka legendswon the toss for the final match and had opted to field first. In the last match of the series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur,the India Legends managed to set a target of 181 for four.

Most runs were scored by Yusuf,who pulled off an unbeaten 62 from 36 balls, followed by Yuvraj who managed 60 runs from 41 balls and Tendulkar scored30 runs from 23 balls. The Man of the Match award went to Yusuf, who also took two wickets apart from his stellar batting score.

Tendulkar, who led the India Legends team, also took to social media to share his joy. The Master Blaster shared a couple of priceless moments from the Sunday match. Describing his emotion, the legendary cricketer said, “WOW…. ECSTATIC… Over the Moon!”

Yusuf, too, was thrilled with the win and shared his joy on Twitter. He shared three photos, out of which, one was the winning team’s formal picture, another was with Irfan, while the third was a graphic that had India Legends photo accompanied by ‘CHAMPIONS’ written in bold over it. The elated cricketer, in a part of his caption, wrote, “Thrilled to be a part of the champion team. This victory will be remembered for a long time.”
