Kartik Aaryan tests positive for COVID-19, says, 'Dua Karo'

After walking down the ramp at a fashion event with Kiara Advani, actor Kartik Aaryan has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor informed about the same through social media and asked his fans to pray for him. Kartik took to Twitter and shared a picture of a first aid medical sign, writing, 'Positive ho gaya. Dua karo.' The 30-year-old actor, recently walked the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra at an ongoing fashion event in Mumbai. He was joined by his upcoming 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' co-star Kiara Advani. Earlier, Kartik Aaryan welcomed Tabu back on the sets of their upcoming film, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. The actor shared a selfie with her, Kiara Advani, and Anees Bazmee as they resumed the shooting of the movie. In the photo, while Kartik, Kiara and Anees are seen posing for the selfie, Tabu is seen inside a bio-bubble. Captioning the lovely picture, Kartik wrote, ‘Welcome back #tabu ji but she refuses to come out of the bubble, brings her own portable Z++Bio-Bubble to shoot #BhoolBhulaiyaa 2. For the unversed, Mumbai reported 3,779 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the overall tally to 3,62,675. The death toll mounted to 11,586. Talking about 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', the movie is not the sequel of the original film. The makers have maintained the same name to make it a franchise. Kartik will be seen stepping into the shoes of Akshay Kumar in the film. The original movie starred Akshay, Vidya Balan and Shiney Ahuja in lead roles. It received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike. Meanwhile, as per things on the work front, Kartik Aaryan is also gearing up for his next OTT project. Directed by Ram Madhvani, the film is touted to be a gripping thriller. It will be based on a news reporter, who is covering a bomb blast that has just taken place. Kartik will be playing a journalist who realises that he has to make some tough decisions.
