Mumbai, Mar 22 (UNI) Union Minister Ramdas Athawale on Monday demanded President's Rule in Maharashtra.
In this regards, Mr Athawale, who is also president of Republic Party of India, sent a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and stated that he would soon meet Mr Shah.
"A detailed investigation should be done in the allegations made by Param Bir Singh letter against the Maharashtra Home Minister," he sought.
“The people of Maharashtra have lost their faith in this government over the law and order issue. So, the Maharashtra government should be dissolved and President rule shall be imposed in the state," he asserted.
Last week, the erstwhile Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh, in a letter to state CM, levelled allegation of corruption against state Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.
