Hyderabad: Bhagwandas Bagh Well, left in a dilapidated state for more than decades, has been cleaned and restored to its original condition.
HMDA has accepted the responsibility to clean and repair the various step wells. The Metropolitan Development Authority of Hyderabad has taken up the case of Bhagwandas Bagh Stepwell cleaning and restoration work in Gudimalkapur.
HMDA also recorded the cleaning works of Shiv Bagh Stepwell. On Saturday, the general secretary of municipal administration and urban development, Arvind Kumar, said step-by-step after the restoration work of Bhagwandas that the heritage admirers can now take photos of the walking well. He also appealed to the residents who live nearby to keep the stairs well clean by not throwing any rubbish in it.
He further added that Bhagwandas Step-well is ready for heritage admirers after the removal of tons of debris, and that the HMDA will soon revive more than 40 steps. -putte.
