NEW DELHI: Auto components maker Craftsman Automation, whose Rs 824 crore IPO was sold between March 15 and 17, will finalise share allotment on Monday. The issue, which was sold in the Rs 1,488-1,490 price range, received muted response with 3.82 times subscription.

The HNI quota was subscribed 5.21 times, while the quota for retail investors was subscribed 3.44 times and the qualified institutional bidders (QIB) quota 20.10 times. A vertically integrated manufacturing company, Craftsman Automation is engaged in three business segments, namely Automotive - Powertrain and Others, Automotive – Aluminium Products and Industrial and Engineering. It is one of the leading players in machining of cylinder blocks for the tractor segment.

The company's top clients include Daimler India, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, M&M, TAFE, Escorts, John Deere, JCB India, TVS Motors, Royal Enfield, among others. Its clientele in industrial & engineering segments includes Siemens and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Top 10 customers contributed 59 per cent of total sales in the first nine months of FY21. Over 50 per cent of the company's sales come from clients that have been associated with the company for 10 years or more.

You can also check the allotment status of the online portal of Link Intime India Private Ltd, the registrar to the issue. The registrar is a Sebi-registered entity, qualified to act as such and which electronically processes all applications, and carries out the allotment process as per the prospectus. The registrar is responsible for complying with the timelines for updating the electronic credit of shares to successful applicants, dispatch, and uploading of refunds, and attending to all investor-related queries after the issue is completed.
