Bafana Bafana coach Molefi Ntseki has called up five more players to the squad that will face Ghana and Sudan in crucial Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON) qualifiers during the FIFA international break.
South Africa entertain the Black Stars on Thursday (18:00) at FNB Stadium before traveling north for their final Group C match against the Sudanese on Sunday.
Ntseki was forced to amend his chosen 26-man squad due Covid-19 travelling restrictions and injuries to players, namely, Kermit Erasmus and Bradley Grobler.
Lebo Maboe and Thabiso Kutumela have been called-up to the Bafana Bafana camp along with Thabo Nodada, Mothobi Mvala and Vincent Pule.
The good news was that the national team welcomed star man Percy Tau nice and early from his English Premier League club Brighton, where he's been starved of game time since rejoining his parent club after a loan spell at Anderlecht was cut short.
