Kangana Ranaut is all set to launch the trailer of J Jayalalithaa biopic Thalaivi on March 23. As per reports the trailer launch event will happen in Mumbai and Chennai simultaneously.
Ahead of the trailer launch, Kangana shared stills from the upcoming movie. It shows her dramatic body transformation for the role. Kangana had earlier shared with fans that she gained and lost 20 kgs for the role and the new pics really show how dramatic her body transformation was for the role in Thalaivi.
She wrote in the caption, “One day to go for the trailer launch of #Thalaivi. Gaining 20 kgs and loosing it all back within a span of few months wasn’t the only challenge that I faced while filming this Epic Biopic, wait is getting over just in few hours Jaya will be your forever (sic).”

Apart from losing and gaining weight for the same movie, Kangana has also learnt Tamil and Bharatanatyam for Thalaivi role. The movie will be releasing in cinemas on April 23. Kangana also turns director for an upcoming film titled Aparajita Ayodhya.
