6 foot tall exactly, 189lbs / 13% Body Fat ~ I am close to a full 48 hour fast currently, I will hit 96+ hours. Essentially just flushing my system really quick. What do you all think about a 3,000 calorie diet with 260 grams of protein / 340 grams of carbs / 70 grams of fat? Working out 5 times a week, I push myself.
With the body really only being able to digest 50 grams of protein per meal max, I'm going to legitimately have to break this down to 5 meals @ 50 grams of protein a piece? I can't wait to eat all my awesome banana strawberry greek yogurt with dutch pressed cocoa powder hahaha ~ That is a beautiful 40 grams of protein, now I can finally not skip out on the banana for the extra carbs, sweeet lol.
Do I think by the end of my fast my body fat will have changed much? I don't know, but I do have some beef bone broth and will be doing a 2 day recovery before I go full MACRO, currently doing light workouts just to stimulate the muscles so my body knows not to eat them during my fast haha (which I'm handling like a champ btw)..
Let me know what you think about my new diet, I really don't want to go above 3K cal and a 45carb/35protein/20fat ~ Goal? 9% body fat
I have so much energy, this is my first long term fast (I have done 24 hour fasts, but now I'M IN KETOSIS AND I FEEL AMAZING).. I am not doing a dry fast, it is a water fast, but I can easily go 7-8 days I will tell you this right now! If I were doing this to lose body fat I probably would prolong it to 8+ days, but again I am doing all I can to preserve my muscles while still being in "ketosis" and that other fancy word that starts with an "A" I forgot (it's good for you though and I can attest because I feel awesome!)
