18-year-old stabbed 14 times, dropped outside Panchkula hospital

PANCHKULA: An 18-year-old resident of Ambedkar Colony, Dhakoli, was stabbed to death in Industrial Area on Friday night.
The victim is Salim. He used to work as a labourer. Family members said he had gone out with four of his friends. Cops said Salim had a spat with one of his friends, who allegedly stabbed him 14 times. His other friends dropped him outside General Hospital, Sector 6, and fled.
He succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Saturday.
A team of cops, including assistant commissioner of police Vijay Kumar, Sector 20 police station house officer inspector Dalip Kumar and Sector19 police post in-charge subinspector Gulab Singh visited the hospital A police official said "We have called the victim’s friends for questioning. The accused will be arrested soon.”
Police registered a case under Sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 34 (act done by several person with same intention) of the IPC at the Sector20 police station.
