BENGALURU: Three Sudanese nationals pursuing BPharma course in two different colleges in north Bengaluru have accused their principals of cheating them by not issuing fee receipts and no-objection certificates.
The complaints were filed by Mustafa Ishag Khider Mohammed, Abdulla Aldomah and Mostafa Abdulla, all residents of Soldavenahalli, against Shivakumaraswamy and Brijendra Kumar Sonu. The students had come to Bengaluru in 2015 and joined a four-year BPharma course.
Initially, they approached a local court and filed a private complaint report (PCR) against their principals. The court directed jurisdictional Soladavenahalli police to register a first information report (FIR) and investigate. Accordingly, cops booked the principals under IPC-420 (cheating).
"The complainants said they faced difficulties in understanding the syllabus and as a result, they failed in many subjects over the years. The college management did not give them receipts for the fees paid by them. They wanted to write exams in failed subjects in different colleges, but the principals allegedly demanded Rs 1 lakh each from them to issue NOCs for the purpose," cops said, adding the duo has been asked to appear for questioning.
