Uttarakhand: Now Tirath will meet Modi and Shah, Chief Minister will give invitation to come to Kumbh Mela

Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah next week. He will be on a stay in Delhi from March 22 to March 24. During this time, he will invite the PM, Home Minister, and Union Ministers to come to the Kumbh Mela.

Issues related to an election year, Kumbh Mela in Uttarakhand, preparation of Chardham Yatra, issues related to Chardham Alvedar Road and Rishikesh Karnaprayag Rail Project, will give information about the measures being taken at the state government level for prevention of Kovid-19 epidemic.


During this time, he is preparing to meet the Union ministers. They will be lobbying the Union ministers for approval of pending proposals related to the development plans of the state government. After becoming the Chief Minister, Tirath Singh Rawat is yet to meet the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister. Both the top leaders were busy in the assembly elections in West Bengal.

Doon returns after meeting Nadda

Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat returned to Uttarakhand on Saturday after meeting BJP National President JP Nadda. He met Nadda late on Friday night. This was his courtesy call from the Chief Minister, the National President. Current issues were discussed between the two leaders.

Instructions to the officials to prepare the proposal

The Chief Minister's Office has started making proposals related to all the departments, which are to be approved by the Center. In this regard, some officials in the Secretariat on Saturday gave presentations about the proposals related to their departments.

225 crore to be released for the improvement of roads

225 crore is to be released to the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for the improvement of the roads of the state. The Ministry has sanctioned this amount under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRF). The Chief Minister can demand the release of this amount.

Apart from this, the Ministry has given in-principle approval to declare six highways of 524 km as National Highways. The Chief Minister can seek its final approval. Under the Uttarakhand Decentralized Procurement System, the Center owes an amount of 640 crores for the subsidy given. An early release of this amount can also be requested from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs.

The Chief Minister will be visiting Delhi from 22 March. He will call on the Prime Minister and the Home Minister. Will also meet Union Ministers. We will discuss the proposals which are at the center of the state government.
