Lower-division clerk caught taking bribe by ACB in Dumka

Ranchi, Mar 20 (UNI) A lower division clerk posted at the office of the Assistant settlement officer was on Saturday caught by the Anti Corruption Bureau while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000.
The arrested has been identified as Rajiv Kumar. A complaint against him was registered by Anand Hansda a resident of Taldangal village under Massalia block.
In his complaint, Hansda had pointed the lower division clerk was demanding the bribe to get his name included in a land record. Post the verification of the complaint a trap was laid and the man was nabbed as soon as money exchanged hands.
