HP Assembly passes Appropriation Bill for year 2021-22

Shimla, Mar 20 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Assembly passed Rs 53,484.77,7100 appropriation bill for the financial year on the last day of budget session.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur, who holds the portfolio of finance, presented the appropriation bill, which was passed with the voice votes.
Earlier to passing the financial bill, House also issued cut motions and supplementary demands of various departments.
The House voted the 32 heads and cut motions of opposition but all demands were passed allowed to be used by Goverment incluiding it to add in the consolidated amount of state.
The highest allocation in the bill include of Rs 7178.83 crore Education, Public Works Department Rs 5045.31 crore and Health Department Rs 2508.53 crore.
