One person killed, two others injured in road accident in Anantnag

Srinagar, Mar 20 (UNI) A person was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in south Kashmir district of Anantnag on Saturday.

Official sources said that a truck collided with a motorcycle at Nanil Akura area in Anantnag, resulting in on the spot death of one person and injuries to two others. “The injured were immediately taken to a hospital where the health condition of one of the wounded was stated to be critical,” they said.

After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased, identified as Ghulam Mohammed Parray, was handed over to his relatives for last rites.

“Police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident,” they added.
