Hyderabad: In an effort to promote the equipment of tourists, the government of Telangana will erect another iconic statue of dr.
The construction of the 125-foot-tall statue of the father of the Indian constitution will be erected on a rock in the amusement park at NTR Garden here to commemorate his 125de birthday on April 14th.
The Department of Roads and Buildings has issued tenders for the implementation of this project which costs approximately 146 million. It is speculated that the statue will take about a year to complete.
For this large project, only experienced companies are invited to carry out the project. The bidding process is expected to be completed in a few days, a senior development department official said. Telangana Today.
The design of the Ambedkar statue and its related parts has already been completed. The statue will be installed on a hill in the gardens.
Last September, Minister of IT, KT Rama Rao, Minister of Social Welfare, Koppula Ishwar, Minister of Health, Eatala Rajender, Minister Satyavati Rathore, unveiled an example of Ambedkar’s statue in the hall of the meeting committee. Minister Koppula Eshwar has been entrusted with the responsibility of completing the project.
In addition to the laser show on campus, a museum is also planned. According to the designs, the statue would be about 45 feet wide and have 9 tons of bronze skin covering. 155 tons of stainless steel will be used to design the statue. The project lasts about nine months to a year.
Apart from the 125-foot statue at the NTR Garden, the Telangana government has already installed a 27-foot Ambedkar statue at the Center for Dalit Studies in Borbanda.
