Under the Vaccine Maitri initiative of Government of India, Lao People’s Democratic Republic has received the Made in India Covid-19 Vaccines. A plane carrying the consignment of vaccine doses landed in Vientiane today. Yesterday, Solomon Islands had received the Made in India Covid-19 Vaccines.
Speaking in both houses of Parliament on Wednesday, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar had informed that India has supplied vaccines made in India to 72 nations across geographies.
