Algerian minister says 5G roll-out is not an immediate priority

Algerian Minister of Post and Telecommunications Brahim Boumzar says the deployment of 5G technology is not an immediate priority of his department, Ecofin reported. The official said his ministry is rather focused for the moment on providing a good 4G to Algerians. Boumzar said they are working pragmatically and current facilities are 5G-ready and will launch the 5G network at the appropriate time.
