NEW DELHI: Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Bombay has declared the result of GATE 2021 on its official website today, i.e., March 19.
The candidates who have appeared for the GATE 2021 can visit the official website of GATE — gate.iitb.ac.in — to check and download their result. The total count of candidates who appeared for GATE 2021 examination was 711542. Of these, a total of 126813 candidates qualified, i.e., about 17.82%.
IIT Bombay conducted the GATE exam 2021 on February 6, 7, 13, and 14 at various centres across the country.
Issuing a notice on Friday, Falguni Banerjee Naha, Public Relations Officer, IIT Bombay said ,“A total of 913275 Admit cards were issued to the candidates to appear for GATE 2021 examination, which was conducted on 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th February 2021. Two additional days, namely, 5th and 12th February 2021, were used to ensure safety measures at the examination centres as per the social distancing model with isolation facility.”
GATE 2021 examination was held in a total of 27 papers including two newly introduced papers, namely, Environmental Science and Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Sciences (XH). It should be noted that the official GATE 2021 Scorecard can be downloaded from the GOAPS portal between March 30, 2021 to June 30, 2021.
